Renés Adornment work turned heads in the art world and beyond. She took found objects, sheet aluminum, car parts, metal fasteners, rubber hose, rubber mats and wire and turned them into something more than sculpture, something more than fashion. She created pieces that when worn created a feeling of empowerment for the wearer and for the viewer. It is as though she tapped into an ancient power and got it from a deep source. These pieces were worn in performances by Archie Bell and his Future Kulture group as well as others and were seen by thousands in performances on stage with the band Ministry for the 1992 Lollapalooza tour.
